1959 Cessna 175

This is not your Grandpa’s Cessna. This 1959 Cessna 175 underwent a complete ground-up restoration in 2023. Everything is brand new except the original aluminum exterior skins. The result is a backcountry-ready, high-performance machine that outperforms new 172s and 182s, and carries a useful load comparable to a 182.

Equipped with a modern Garmin glass panel (dual G5s, GNC 255A, GTX 335 ADS-B Out, Aera 760), JPI EDM-900, CiES digital fuel senders, and all-new wiring throughout. Firewall-forward is entirely new under the Stoots Aviation STC, including engine, mount, prop, accessories, hoses, and cables.

Built for rough strips with Sportsman STOL cuff, 8.50 mains, upgraded brakes, reinforced nose gear, extended baggage, baggage door, LED lighting, and BAS harnesses. Wings, controls, and fuselage were disassembled, epoxy primed, and rebuilt as required. Finished in Jet Glo Matterhorn White.

This aircraft delivers modern performance, legendary simplicity, and true backcountry capability without compromise.
